Okay….I just got spirit filled a little while ago in a hotel lobby and all this is new to me. And I’m trying to read through the new testament, I’m starting in the epistles and of course Acts, since that’s what you said, and now Joel. But I do have a question about being spirit filled. How come so many of the ministries that claim they have concerned the market on the gifts of the Spirit and speaking in tongues and prophecy are actually, well… NUTS?
It’s one thing what ministries “CLAIM” TO HAVE A CORNER ON AND “QUITE ANOTHER” IN REALITY, ESPECIALLY IF THERE IS pride that tries to infer they have “cornered the market” on the gifts of the Spirit and speaking in tongues, PROPHECY, etc. “Let no man steal your crown”! Stay with the Word of God and when ministries are going “bonkers” stay solid in faith “KNOWING IN WHOM YOU HAVE BELIEVED AND THAT HE IS ABLE TO KEEP YOU TO THE END”!
It probably sounds stupid, but I never realized that cross-reference was there in Joel. I should have because Acts is quoting Joel, but it just never dawn to go back and actually read it in Joel. That kinda makes ya feel stupid. I like this call to prayer and Bible reading. That was a great idea. Thanks!

Yes, I agree! There are some tremendous things going on by the Holy Sprit and I believe we will be hearing testimony of great miracles and answers to prayer! The Spirit of Faith is hanging over us like a cloud made of the glory of God! When Faith runs high SO DO THE BLESSINGS OF GOD AND THE MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! strongholds are being torn down and people loosed… it’s all done in prayer and many are praying without ceasing with praise and thanksgiving and the gates are open wide and blessings being poured out! Lord I receive it in Jesus name!
I believe great things are going to happen when we keep praying, praising and reading these books that you suggest. Acts and Joel have been fantastic. I get a blessing every time I read.
I agree for the greatness of God to be displayed and great things from God to happen as we pray, praise the Lord and feed on the fresh manna of the Word of God as the Holy Spirit leads us! I’m glad this has blessed you and what we are doing now is opening the door for the Holy Spirit to do marvelous things in everyone’s lives!
I consider it a huge victory that all the cities had protests against Whitaker and for Bobby. I think some of the apathetic part of the country is finally waking up and realizing that we better do something about cheetoh man. He shouldn’t be allowed to defy the Constitution. I think it’s going to have a stop put to it because sane men and women will make sure he follows the rule of law like everyone else. Otherwise we have anarchy. Go Mueller!

I don’t understand what these preachers think they are doing, but you would think they would be worried about imperiling their own souls, but I guess that’s not the case. I don’t understand it and I never will! Why would you turn away from light that you already have to go to darkness? You can’t take the money with you!

I don’t get this at all with this NAR movement and this one world church garbage. Everyone knows that the one world church is coming, but you certainly don’t expect to start with people in the full gospel circles. And how come Tony Palmer was buried with a traditional Catholic mass and all the last rites nonsense and all this other Catholic stuff if we’re all one church now?

I was in an NAR church and was so beaten-down I didn’t even realize how beaten-down I was. Then I heard about this person that they call here “the hotshot singer” from a girl I knew from college. (I had dropped out) and so I went to hear an opposite point of view. I don’t know to this day why. I guess subconsciously I wanted to get out of that mess. He was basically the first person who ever gave two hoots about me, that’s for sure. And even when he had to explain things 500 times and I still didn’t get it he didn’t get the least bit impatient with me. I’m glad there are people who know what’s going on in this world because I would’ve been lost without somebody to explain why that was wrong. They dress it up in such a clever costume that you end up thinking that it’s YOU who have the problem, when really it’s THEM. Anyway, thank you both! “Double Teamers.” I like it.
Right you are and I’m glad you got to where you needed to be to hear the truth that set you free! The NAR is very deceptive, but then Jesus warned about wolves that would come in sheep’s clothing! You are welcome! Stay simple in the faith, get filled with the Word of God for it is a discerner and full of the Spirit of God, keep praising Jesus a lot and all those heavy burdens will flee from you and you will sit in heavenly places in Jesus FAR ABOVE IT ALL!

Yes, for sure, 100% tell it for God has done something special for you and HE said to bear witness of Him and His great power… “the redeemed of the Lord will say so”… “they shall speak of your glorious power”! I think people will be blessed so definitely tell it!
I really don’t know who you two are or how you do this, but I guess I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth…. I came here after the infamous episode at the Assemblies of God church that the hotshot singer was invited to leave and never come back to. I figured if God moved on him to do all that, and he thinks I should come to the blog, then I’m going to the blog! Then I read many of the posts and realized that I learned about 100 things wrong and that was the problem right along. So I proceeded to quit the church, unlearn everything I learned there, and join the Wonder Working Power church. ROFL. It looks like he’s in trouble for telling us not to bother saying anything about him. Don’t you ever learn? How many times does Rev Rocket have to say it? It looks to me like you’ve been in trouble more than once. HA HA HA HA HA HA
Say it sister, say it! God uses people who love Him and people and people need to know that because He wants to use all of us in our individual walk in life! Kind of “what He does for one He will do for another deal! God gets all the glory, but we MUST tell the story! For some will do without unless we show them how to cast the devil out! So take a deep breath and let it out, relax about all this and start to shout! In the words of a famous performer: “You ain’t seen nothing yet”! Thanks for the comment!

I got healed of epilepsy when Mr. Anonymous prayed for me. I told him I didn’t believe I could ever get spirit filled and healed and when he prayed for me a lighting bolt came out of his arm and down his hand and into me. Well…..l believe NOW. LOL. This blog is GOOD STUFF!!

I think these preachers know exactly what they are doing. I don’t believe for a minute they are deceived. They want peoples money and they want power! I hope it was worth it.

I never got real help so I got away from regular churches. All they do is confuse you. One says one thing, one says another thing, and then when you go look it up in the Bible NONE of it is THERE. How does that make any sense? Everything on this blog is backed up with Scripture. In fact, in most posts you write the Scripture reference and then quote Scripture and its impossible to argue. Even way back… When you first come here… and you WANT to argue… It’s… well, hard to argue. HA HA HA HA HA. I am doing my best to keep in the spirit of prayer because I think as you said in one of those prayer posts, it’s of high importance in the end times!
Yes, and the thing is the WORD OF GOD is true 100% and since in your heart you were hungry for the truth you knew to argue with the Word would be to argue with God and you knew that would NOT be a smart thing to do so you kept on here and good to hear this is blessing you! I guess those “wanting to argue” days are far behind you.. lol..hey, if all were honest there would be a lot that would say “things” in the flesh didn’t like the truth here, but since they stayed because in their heart they were crying out for the truth, then they were set free and have a new life now in the Spirit of God!
Staying in the spirit of prayer is SO important in these last days as you said and remember Jesus said to pray so you would not enter into temptation! Staying in prayer keeps our spirit anointed by the Holy Spirit so He can show us what we need to know and lead us from victory to victory!
