Welcome to my blog. My name is Dan Broadt and I am glad you stopped by today, I have good things to share with you, and hope you will share your concerns and stories with me, and with all our other visitors. My aim is that we will become a community–one of support and encouragement in what can be a lonely world.

Many people feel that these are troublesome times indeed. The economy is in shambles, the world is full of unrest and violence is everywhere. No-one has to look for something to worry about. Just to start with, people fear for the safety of their loved ones, their health, their income, and the future. Where is everything going–where will it all end? Above all–is there any peace anywhere?

The good news is, God promises peace of mind and heart to those who look to Him.
Just let your spirit reach out to God, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and let His spirit into your heart. You will be filled with the peace and joy that only He can give. Words from the Bible in Psalm 91 say “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” What does it mean? That we can be in a place of safety and peace by coming close to God. No matter what is going on in the world, your world will be safe with Him. He loves you.
